Bloomsbury began its operations in Portugal in 2020 as a private real-estate initiative focused on long-term, stable investments. What started as a small, disciplined operation quickly proved its value, leading to the formal establishment of Bloomsbury Portugal, Unipessoal Lda., in 2023.

Since then, we have built a solid presence in one of Europe’s most dynamic real-estate environments. Bloomsbury Portugal specialises in acquiring, developing, and managing buy-and-hold residential and commercial properties across the Greater Lisbon Area. We work both independently and alongside trusted partners, applying a rigorous approach to acquisition and a long-term perspective to asset improvement and management.

As our presence in Portugal grew, investors increasingly sought access to our local expertise and market knowledge. In response, we expanded our activities to support investors seeking opportunities in the Portuguese real-estate market.
