Bloomsbury’s work in Germany began long before the group structure was formalised. With the incorporation of Bloomsbury Holding GmbH in 2025, our operations in Berlin gained a dedicated organisational base, underscoring the city’s central role in our long-term strategy.

Berlin remains at the core of our portfolio. The choice reflects both a personal connection and the city’s capacity to provide stable, long-term income supported by a clear demographic profile. In Germany, we focus exclusively on buy-and-hold residential and mixed-use properties, typically through the acquisition of entire buildings. This approach allows us to engage directly with the communities in which we invest, maintain high standards for tenants, and build long-term value.

To support and expand our work, we have also invested in companies within the real-estate sector. These strategic holdings broaden our portfolio, strengthen our operational capabilities, and ensure depth beyond direct property ownership.

Germany is also home to our head office, where we consolidate resources, oversee international operations, and define the strategic direction of the wider Bloomsbury Group.
